 How to set lock on Whatsapp chat

On Android:

Open WhatsApp and go to the chat that you want to lock.

Tap and hold on the chat until a menu appears.

Select "Archive." This will move the chat to the "Archived Chats" section at the bottom of your chats list.

Open WhatsApp Settings > Chats > Chat Backup.

Toggle on "Fingerprint lock"

On iPhone:

Open WhatsApp and go to the chat that you want to lock.

Swipe left on the chat.

Tap "More."

Tap "Lock."

Go to WhatsApp Setting, under account and privacy, turn on the "Screen Lock"

Note: Both Android and iPhone need to have fingerprint lock or passcode set up on the device to use this feature in WhatsApp.
